DEEP partners with wilderness education programs that share a belief in the impact of experiential education on young leaders. Although each program is unique, there are some essential elements that make a program eligible for DEEP partnership. Programs combine creative and positive approaches to community building, rite of passage experiences, use of metaphor, mentoring, and connection with the natural world to provide youth with meaningful experiences.
Our partners are reviewed each year in the fall for adherence to our goals and values. Wilderness programs interested in becoming a partner should submit information in writing by November 1. For more information please contact us.
